I want to hit up a few thrift stores when we visit next month and my daughter is concerned about safety. She's particularly wary of me walking into unfamiliar neighbourhoods solo.

I figure for the most part that everywhere is relatively safe, as long as you keep your wits about you and follow basic safety precautions.

Can you tell me if there are any areas to generally avoid in the Anaheim area at all?
