My older teens want to do ziplining and I was looking at these two options in Skagway -
Grizzly Falls
or Adventure Park
Any feedback on either of these? For reference me and hubby are in late 40s, teens are 19 and 17, we have all ziplined before.
Thanks!
Both Grizzly Falls and Adventure Park in Skagway offer ziplining experiences, but they cater to slightly different preferences and overall experiences. Here’s a detailed comparison to help you decide:
Grizzly Falls: This tour is known for its scenic routes and adrenaline-focused zip lines. It features multiple lines with a mix of long and short zips, some going over valleys and forested areas. It’s a bit more intense and adventurous, making it ideal if your teens enjoy fast, thrilling zips and a higher adrenaline experience. Safety standards are solid, guides are experienced, and the scenery includes rivers, forests, and mountain views.
Adventure Park: This option is slightly more family-oriented, with zip lines designed to offer both fun and views without being overly extreme. The courses are shorter on average, but the park often combines ziplining with other activities like ropes courses, climbing walls, or scenic walking trails. It’s a good choice if you want a mix of adventure and a more relaxed pace, while still letting your teens have a memorable experience.
Additional considerations:
Recommendation: If your teens are experienced zipliners looking for a more thrilling ride, Grizzly Falls is likely the better choice. If you want a slightly more controlled environment with other activity options and closer to town, Adventure Park is ideal.
