Would welcome feedback from anyone who has actually used recently the HK Airport complimentary arrival showers. Several posts in this forum say you should bring your own towels and shampoo. However, the HKIA website https://www.hongkongairport.com/en/passenger-guide/airport-facilities-services/shower-facilities says that shampoo and bath gel are provided, and that towels are available from a vending machine.
Are the showers in fact consistently stocked with shampoo and gel? And are there working vending machines that actually have towels for sale?
I've got to figure out what I really need to cram into my carryon bag, so knowing this stuff would be very useful. With a 4:20 am arrival time I reckon there won't be crowds at the showers?
