- Wat Phanurangsi is a public temple located on Charansanitwong Road along the Bang Phlu Canal. It is believed to be an ancient temple dating back to the Ayutthaya period. Originally named "Wat Bang Phlu Nai" after the Bang Phlu Canal that flows through it.
- Inside the temple is a sacred Buddha image, Kluang Pho To, in the posture of subduing the ocean, located in front of the viharn.
- Not far away is Wat Bang Phlat, an ancient viharn in the late Ayutthaya style, believed to have been built during the late Ayutthaya period. The Buddha images revered by the locals are Luang Pho To and Kluang Pho Yai Sri Bang Phlat.
