Gangneung, on Korea’s east coast, is famous for beaches and coffee. I visited Anmok Beach, where cafés line the sand, and watched surfers while sipping fresh brews. Then I explored Ojukheon House (home of a famous Korean scholar) and hiked to Gyeongpo Lake. The city has a great mix of seaside and tradition.
