Haeunjeong Pavilion is a true historical gem (classified as a National Treasure) dating back to the Joseon Dynasty (1530). This structure is a prime example of upper-class gentry architecture from the period, featuring a refined paljak (hip-and-gable) roof and detailed wooden craftsmanship. It stands on a three-tiered stone embankment, presenting an elegant, dignified appearance. The pavilion is historically significant, holding inscriptions from famous scholars. Best of all, admission is Free, and while the exterior grounds are always accessible, the Pavilion itself is generally open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It's a low-cost yet culturally rich stop.
