Starbucks with a Historic Twist at Shamian Park ☕🏛️

As always, Starbucks has a knack for choosing iconic and unique locations, and the one at Shamian Park in Guangzhou is no exception. Housed inside a beautifully preserved historic building, this two-level café offers a charming blend of old-world architecture and modern coffee culture.

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a walk through the park. Sitting by the window with a cup of coffee, watching locals and tourists stroll by, was truly enjoyable.

Interestingly, this branch featured a few China-exclusive items on the menu, which we decided to try. The food and drinks were up to Starbucks’ usual standard—familiar, reliable, and comforting.

We also noticed that Starbucks is very popular with Chinese locals, many of whom were enjoying their drinks quietly with friends or alone. It felt like a peaceful little hub within the historic Shamian neighborhood.
