π΄ Chinese food is delicious with a spicy taste similar to Thai, desserts and milk tea are moderately sweet, and prices are not that expensive. Most local hawker stalls accept cash only.
βοΈ Very hot weather, very strong sun even in December, but luckily no rain.
π Bus and Metro are cheap because fares are distance-based, about 100 THB per day, but you can go everywhere. Easy, punctual, and safe travel. Bus is slightly more expensive than Metro by no more than $1, and Metro requires more walking.
ποΈ Shopping for souvenirs in China Town has both cheap and expensive options, choose carefully, and most accept cash only.
π¦ The signature Singapore ice cream bread cart accepts cash only.
π± Buy Singapore network SIM from Shopee, fast, strong, and good internet.
ποΈ Tank tops, skirts/shorts are not allowed in temples/religious areas, but free cover cloth is provided.
π Essential apps: YouTrip and City Mapper
If anyone plans to go to Singapore and wants to try taking the bus, I recommend it because itβs cheap, punctual, easy to travel, and impressive.
