Established in 1861, the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is the oldest and largest public art museum in Australia, boasting a collection of over 70,000 works.

NGV International (Southbank):
The main building, located in Southbank, showcases international artworks. Designed by Roy Grounds, the modern architecture underwent renovations in 2003.

One of Yayoi Kusama's striking works is displayed right at the entrance, making a powerful impression. The third floor is dedicated to contemporary art.
