Torido Yuguan hiking reason:

Dali's unique natural environment has always been the throat of various migratory birds. Once, in a month, because of the beautiful scenery, I went to the Bird Hanging Mountain hike in Eryuan County 4 times. Among them, the first travelogue to hike to Bird Hanging Mountain "Dali Bird Hanging Mountain, the place where a hundred birds pay homage to the phoenix, have you been there?" ", which was awarded by the Qingyun Graphic Program.

During the hiking period of Bird Hanging Mountain in Eryuan County, many friends once talked about the legendary story of Xiongguan on the Bird Road in Weishan County, and they have always had the desire to visit and travel on foot.

On the weekend of September 12th, Red Star Outdoor organized a hiking in Xiongguan on the Weishan Bird Road, which just fulfilled my wish. So I signed up for this Torido Yuseki hiking activity.

Torido Xiongguan Hiking Experience:

1. At 8:30 a.m., at the intersection of Weishan in Xiaguan, all hikers were assembled. 7 vehicles and 36 people headed for their destination, Torido Xiongguan. Passing through National Highway 215 for about 50 kilometers, turn left at a traffic light intersection into Xianan Highway, turn into the Miwei Line, go up the mountain to the entrance of the Torido Xiongguan Archway, stop at 10:30 and start the walking tour of Torido Xiongguan.

2. Hike from the gate of the archway to the gate of Wulipo Forest Farm, the road is a marble road and the width only allows a single vehicle to pass, the altitude climb is not large, the vegetation along the way is very dense, walking halfway up the mountain, the view is not too wide, and occasionally you can see the dam of Weishan County. The hiking team along the way, talking and laughing, easily arrived at the gate of the forest farm, and the track record was only 3 kilometers at this time.

3. Turn right from the entrance of the forest farm and go up the mountain to enter the sheep intestine trail. Walking through the woods, the path is lined with tall trees on both sides. Although it has entered autumn, I originally thought it should be a scene of yellow leaves and flowers, but I didn't expect that it was full of greenery, and the wildflowers on the side of the road were still blooming.

4. Walking in the front is the "laborer" brother, holding a camera and a dog. In order to learn more photography techniques with him, I followed him all the time, and finally asked him for a few tricks in a small and open way. There are some wildflowers in full bloom here, making it a great place to take photos. The little dog is smarter and more aura, and when the eldest brother is taking pictures, if anyone interferes with him taking pictures, the dog will make a sound to maintain order.

It seems that to take good photos, you need not only to practice more, but also to have a good atmosphere.

5. Hiking in the green forest, the morning dew on the side of the road occasionally touches my feet, and my body is in an empty state, very loose and light. Although the altitude has risen slightly, and the hike has been moving forward, I don't feel tired at all. Before I knew it, I arrived at the location of the stone monument of Torimichi Xiongguan at 12:00, and I only hiked 4 kilometers when I looked at the track record.

I saw that where the stone monument was erected, a narrow V-shaped valley appeared in front of me, and it was really a majestic momentum. Donkey friends who love beauty pose various POSS and enjoy the joy. According to records, on Longqing Pass at an altitude of 2,700 meters, there is a stone stele engraved with the four powerful Wei characters of "Bird Road Xiongguan", which was carved during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, which is this location.

After expert research, this is the only stone stele in the world that has been discovered so far, and it is also the earliest and oldest stone tablet recorded about the "bird road". This stone carving witnesses that this place is not only a post road of the ancient Silk Road in the southwest, but also a throat passage for migratory birds.

6. On the way back from the Bird Road Xiongguan, picking up garbage along the way has always been a fine tradition of Red Star Outdoor, and this hiking Bird Road Xiongguan tour is no exception. This is the beautiful moment when the enthusiastic "Sister Wang" beauty, the long-legged "Aoxue" beauty, and the "wolf dog" big brother who "bears a heavy burden" collected garbage everywhere and went down the mountain. Of course, there are many people who are also silently acting as environmental protection guards, and when they eat to replenish their physical strength, everyone will have one or several garbage bags in their backpacks, which are all garbage generated by themselves or collected along the way.

7. After going down the mountain, relax in the Huaguoshan Leisure Park opened by Weishan donkey friends, and return to Xiaguan after the dinner. After seeing off the companions in the car, they returned safely to the homestay at 20:00 and ended the hiking trip to Xiongguan on the bird road.

Torido Xiongguan Hiking Summary:

1. From Shimonoseki, drive along National Highway 215 for about 50 kilometers and Miwei Line for about 15 kilometers to reach the gate of Torido Xiongguan, which takes about 2 hours. The round trip distance of the hike is about 8 kilometers, the altitude difference is about 200 meters, the hiking difficulty is average, and the whole process is very relaxed.

2. When we went to Bird Road Xiongguan on this trip, the Miwei Line was under construction, and there were many potholes on the road, making it difficult for cars to pass. If you have friends going to Torido Xiongguan in the future, remember to check the latest road traffic and control conditions to avoid delaying your trip.
