During the 2007 Spring Festival, I took my two-year-old on my first road trip south. We experienced the Shimian Dagang Mountain in the Dadu River Valley and the Lining Eighteen Bends in the Jinsha River Gorge for the first time. We also experienced the snow-capped Cangshan Mountain, the moonlit Erhai Lake, and the pristine Lugu Lake. Years later, following the lead of "Where Are We Going, Dad?", we visited Puzhehei, Mile Hot Springs, and Fuxian Lake. This time, the southern part of the colorful clouds also reached the destination of our hearts. The summer breeze rose, and we watched the clouds dance across the sky.
Day 1/16 days: Chengdu to Panzhihua, 637 kilometers.

With you in the South, we are heading south.
First do the whole nucleic acid test, then recharge while drinking. Day 2/16 Days: Panzhihua to Lijiang, 248km. Passing through Huaping, mountains of mangoes covered with all kinds. Grandparents and grandchildren, the kindness of the people and the sweetness of the fruits are heartwarming! It was a true honor to pass by your orchard.

Days 3-5/16: Lijiang to Dali, 155km.

The ancient city, soft with clouds and azure with sky, remains the same as always. In our small courtyard, amidst the bustling hustle and bustle outside, we prefer to sit alone within, painting a picture or reading a book.

Watching the windblown flowers at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and a rainbow at the entrance of Erhai Lake. Day 6-7 (16 days): Dali to Heshun Ancient Town, Tengchong, 330km. Mount Gaoligong, which I had seen so many times in books, now appeared before my eyes.

At this moment, it seems as if I have returned to the fragrant rice fields of Ubud that year.
Take a leisurely stroll and find the perfect spot in the Peach Blossom Spring, with copper pot beef paired with braised beef.

Day 8-9/16 days: Heshun to Lincang, 430km.

How rare! Today I happened to stumble upon a celebration in a mountain village.
Across the village, regardless of age or region, everyone dances beautifully. The far reaches of the valley are hushed, but here, singing in a language I don't understand, they celebrate without sleep.
Life here is surprisingly simple and beautiful.
The clouds flowed past, within reach, and the corn just picked from the ground was so sweet. At this moment, the only sounds in the village were the singing of birds and the crowing of chickens.

Every night in the valley seems to be a sea of stars. Day 10 (16 days): Lincang to Pu'er, 330km. Not for the sake of Jie, not for the sake of Yao. Though Pei fled to Taiwan last night, the sun still rises as usual. We, gentlemen, should strive for self-improvement, at least cultivating ourselves and caring for our families.
Day 11-12/16 days: Pu'er to Xishuangbanna, 120km.
Mountains and rivers may differ, yet the world is one.
Read thousands of books, travel thousands of miles. Children learn joyfully because they can constantly experience the joy of exploring the world. Even if one lacks the ambition to establish a purpose for the universe, one must possess the spirit of self-improvement and the courage to strive for excellence.

Appointment after dusk. At this moment, the stars are shining brightly, like the Milky Way. Walking through the Starlight Night Market today, it feels like I've been transported back to that night in Taipei and Tainan. A small family is a big family; the small happiness of two people is the prosperity of thousands of people. May the weather be favorable, the country be peaceful and the people be safe. Every morning light is beautiful. The faint reflections of the sun cast a shadow over the day, its clear light illuminating clothes. Walking through the rainforest, I wonder if that butterfly, occasionally flapping its wings, is still there.
The nights and the wine here are exactly the same as the days we spent in Luang Prabang that year.
Day 13-14/ 16 days in total, Xishuangbanna to Fuxian Lake, 532km.
Slowly opening my still sleepy eyes, I drew aside the curtains, brewed a pot of tea, and the surrounding mountains and rivers were filled with vitality! A parent's love and companionship for their children should be unconditional. Parents should be a guide and guardian of their children in their youth, and even more so, admirers of their children as they grow up.
At night, it's always time for delicious food.
Charcoal fire is the soul of a barbecue. The flavor here is just like that at the Ashura Grassland Camp, natural and simple, always inspiring every traveler's taste buds.
Day 15/16 days: Fuxian Lake to Xichang, 450km.
The moonlight is boundless and the stars are shining tonight. This is the Moon City. Day 16: Xichang to Chengdu, 450km. Charging at Qionghai Park. Visit the wetland park next to the charging station. Fishing in the emerald stream at leisure, dreaming of the sun on a boat.
