We are planning for one overnight at Pop Century this summer and need to maximize our park time. Can anyone tell me if I will be able to remotely check in and access our park tickets or will we have to go into the hotel for this?
The plan is to arrive at the hotel at least 90 minutes before early entry time to drop off the car and take the SkyLiner to the Studios. If we can check in remotely while on the way there, we will save time.
We don't plan on having Magic Bands.
At Pop Century and other Disney Resort hotels, you can take advantage of online check-in via the My Disney Experience app. This allows you to input your information, link your park tickets, and even request room details before arriving at the hotel. Once your reservation is confirmed, you can use the app to access digital room keys if you have MagicBands or the app itself.
Since you mentioned you will not be using MagicBands, your digital room key option is limited. However, you can still link your park tickets to your account and have them ready to use. Early Theme Park Entry is available to Disney Resort guests, but you must have a valid park reservation and a valid ticket associated with your account. For Early Entry, the Disney app and your linked tickets are sufficient; you do not need to physically check in at the hotel beforehand.
Here are some tips for your plan:
In summary, you can effectively use Early Entry on your check-in day without physically checking in at the hotel first, provided your tickets are linked to your Disney account and your reservation is valid. This setup will allow you to maximize park time and head straight to the rides after dropping off your car.
