Pizza at Riverside Mill Food Court

Has anyone tried the whole cheese pizza at Riverside Mill? I will be there in March with a picky granddaughter and pizza is on her acceptable list. We could probably get at least two meals out of one of these so it would be a decent value as well as easy. She’s okay with Papa John’s and Pizza Hut.

Thanks!

The Riverside Mill Food Court at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort offers a variety of counter-service options, including pizza. The whole cheese pizza there is generally well-received, particularly by kids who enjoy simple, classic flavors. It’s a decent size for sharing or splitting into two meals, which can make it a good value if you’re feeding a picky eater.

Some points to consider:

  • The pizza is made fresh to order and has a typical American-style crust—similar to what you’d expect from Papa John’s or Pizza Hut, so it should be familiar and acceptable to your granddaughter.
  • Toppings are customizable if she wants to stick with plain cheese, and the staff is usually accommodating about adjustments.
  • The portion is typically a medium-size whole pizza; depending on your granddaughter’s appetite, it can easily be split between two meals or shared with another family member.

Additional tips for a smooth experience:

  • Go during off-peak hours if possible, as the food court can get busy during lunch and dinner rush.
  • If you’re planning to use Disney’s mobile ordering app, you can often pre-order your pizza to save waiting time.
  • Pair the pizza with a side salad or fruit cup if you want to round out the meal with some veggies.

Overall, the whole cheese pizza at Riverside Mill is a convenient and kid-friendly option, and it should be perfectly acceptable for someone who likes chain-style pizzas like Papa John’s or Pizza Hut.
