If your gonna be in Fairbanks on the 1st of Feb. you have a chance to witness the start of what many consider the toughest dog race in the world, Yukon Quest. Not nearly as crowded as the Iditarod start. Great chance for good pics, fun and informative times. Well worth it to see the best dog athletes in the world. Not to mention the Mushers... lol.
