We are staying at signature but would like to
Go to Paris for breakfast, is it feasible to walk from signature to Paris for breakfast ? If so, how long will or if not what transport you use. We are all senior citizens ( late 60s)
Walking from MGM Signature to Paris Las Vegas is definitely feasible, though it’s a bit of a trek. Since you’re staying at MGM Signature, which is located at the MGM Grand, and Paris is located closer to the center of the Strip, the walk would take approximately 15 to 20 minutes depending on your pace and the traffic on the Strip. However, since you mentioned you're all senior citizens, it’s important to consider the heat and possible fatigue from walking the Strip, especially in the summer months.
Here are some transport options to consider if walking seems too far or uncomfortable:
- Taxi or Ride-Share (Uber/Lyft): This is the most convenient and comfortable option. You can easily hail a taxi from the MGM Grand or use a ride-sharing app like Uber or Lyft. The drive is short, usually taking about 5 to 10 minutes, depending on traffic, and will drop you off directly at Paris Las Vegas.
- Monorail: If you feel up for a short walk and are comfortable with public transportation, you can take the Las Vegas Monorail. The nearest station to MGM Signature is the MGM Grand Monorail Station, and you can ride it to the Bally’s/Paris station, which is very close to Paris Las Vegas. The monorail ride is quick, and you’ll get a nice aerial view of the Strip along the way. The monorail operates regularly and is a good option if you'd prefer to avoid walking a long distance.
- Walking with a Rest Stop: If you do decide to walk and need a break, there are several spots along the way where you can rest. You can plan to stop at a hotel along the Strip (like New York-New York or the Bellagio) to take a seat and cool down before continuing on. The Strip is pedestrian-friendly, with lots of benches and shade at some hotels.
Given your preference for comfort, a taxi or ride-share would likely be the most relaxing and efficient way to get to Paris for breakfast. If you enjoy a bit of sightseeing along the Strip and want to avoid the traffic, the monorail is a great option as well.
Enjoy your breakfast at Paris Las Vegas, and feel free to take your time exploring the Strip!
