Echoes of historical memory

#Guangzhou Itinerary
Day 1: Tracing the Footprints of the Revolution
In the morning, I came to the famous site of the First National Congress of the Kuomintang in Guangzhou, which witnessed an important chapter in the history of the Chinese revolution. The building retains a strong style of the Republic of China period. Stepping into it, it feels like going back in time to the passionate era of 1924. The precious documents and photos in the exhibition hall record in detail the historical background and story of the first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, and every paragraph is full of revolutionary passion. Standing in the conference room, I closed my eyes and seemed to hear the discussions of the leaders of that year. In the afternoon, after leaving the old site, I strolled through the surrounding old streets and alleys, feeling the historical traces of this land.
Day 2: Traveling through the prosperity and ancient charm of the city
The itinerary for the second day starts from Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. This modern street hides a thousand-year-old monument - Beijing Road Underground Site. Through the glass floor, the ancient stone pavement is clearly visible, making people marvel at the long history of Guangzhou's urban development. Afterwards, I went to the Grand Marshal's Mansion, which echoed the former site of the First National Congress of the Kuomintang and was also full of traces of modern revolution. The ancient trees standing quietly in the courtyard seem to be whispering those inspiring stories.
The two-day trip took me through history and reality. The revolutionary fire and the prosperity of the city were intertwined, adding more profound feelings to this city full of stories.
