#holidayitinerary Exploring Saint Basil’s Cathedral was honestly such a magical experience. The colorful onion domes are even more stunning in real life than in photos, and the whole building looks like it’s straight out of a storybook. It sits right on Red Square, so it’s super easy to visit while walking around the area. The outside is amazing, but going inside was totally worth it too.
The interior is kind of like a maze with narrow corridors, little chapels, and beautifully painted walls and ceilings. It’s not a huge space, but there’s so much detail everywhere you look. There was even a small live choir singing when I visited, which made the whole place feel even more special. It’s one of those iconic places that’s super touristy but still totally worth it. Whether you’re into history, architecture, or just want cool photos, this cathedral is a must see. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Moscow.
