Arai Onsen Hotel is a national designated cultural property. It is full of Japanese atmosphere. The Japanese-style architecture is made of wood and exudes a strong wood fragrance. The landscaped courtyard and small bridges and flowing water make you feel like you are in a paradise.

There are many types of rooms. Some rooms do not have bathrooms, so you need to go to the bathhouse to take a bath. The hotel itself also has private baths. One requires payment and one is free.
