Overnight parking near disneyland

We (party of 3 adults) have booked a 1 night stay at the Hotel Days Inn and Suites. The plan was to meet our 3rd party somewhere in the park so she will be parking in the Disney parking lot. However, she will need to move her car because she can't park there overnight. The hotel can only accommodate 1 parking space. Any suggestions where she can park her car? She has to leave the next morning ,so it won't be there all day. She only needs parking for late night Tues until Wed. morning. Any suggestions appreciated!

For overnight parking near Disneyland when the Disney lot is not an option, you have several alternatives within walking distance or a short ride from the park. Since your third party only needs parking from late Tuesday night until Wednesday morning, the solution can be flexible and economical.

Options for Overnight Parking:

  • Nearby Hotels with Parking Only Rates: Some hotels near Disneyland allow non-guests to park for a night for a fee. Examples include the Howard Johnson, Best Western Plus, and some smaller motels on Harbor Blvd. It’s worth calling ahead to confirm availability and rates.
  • Public Lots & Parking Garages: There are commercial lots and garages within a few blocks of Disneyland that allow overnight parking. Many have flat nightly rates and are secured. Look for lots on Harbor Blvd or Katella Ave.
  • Street Parking (Limited/Check Restrictions): There are a few streets a short walk from Disneyland that allow overnight parking, but signage must be checked carefully to avoid fines or towing.
  • Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels: Some “Good Neighbor” hotels near the park offer overnight parking even for non-guests, especially smaller boutique hotels or inns. Call to confirm as policies vary.
  • Rideshare or Drop-off Option: If finding overnight parking is difficult, consider dropping off the car with your friend at your hotel or a hotel with guaranteed overnight parking, and using a short rideshare (Uber/Lyft) to get back to Disneyland the next morning.

Since your need is short-term (late night to morning), securing a hotel lot or a commercial parking garage nearby is usually the simplest and safest choice. Avoid relying on Disney’s lots or on-street parking without checking restrictions, as towing enforcement is strict in Anaheim.

Tip: Call ahead wherever possible to confirm overnight parking policies, as these can change frequently, especially near major attractions like Disneyland.
