I’ll be really really really need this facility before continuing my trip, thank you so much!

Yes, Hong Kong International Airport provides shower facilities at the Arrival Level (L5), near Gate 12 and Gate 43. These are labeled as “Complimentary Shower Facilities” for arriving passengers.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The showers are available for all arriving passengers, free of charge, so you do not need to pay to use them.
  • They are usually intended for passengers who have just landed and may need to freshen up before continuing their journey.
  • Facilities typically include a private shower stall, towels, toiletries, and sometimes hairdryers.
  • Operating hours are generally aligned with the airport arrival schedule, so they should be available at most times, but it’s recommended to check if they are open if you are arriving very early or very late.

Tips for using the showers:

  • Bring your passport or boarding pass as staff may ask to verify that you are an arriving passenger.
  • During peak times, there may be a queue, so allow some extra time if you have a connecting flight.
  • Check the signs at the airport or ask an airport information counter if you have difficulty locating the showers near Gate 12 or Gate 43.

In summary, yes, you can use these facilities for free, and they are intended for exactly this purpose — to freshen up after a flight before continuing your journey. You should be able to use them as long as the facilities are open at the time of your arrival.
